How HiBooWoo works

HiBooWoo helps you organise what you own in a clear and private way. It is designed for personal use, shared households, and situations where items are used by more than one person.

1. Start on your own

Your personal library

You begin with a private library where only you can see your items. This works well for personal collections or getting started.

Optional groups

If useful, you can create a group and invite people you trust using a private link. Groups are often used by households or families.

One owner, one plan

Each group has a single owner. The owner manages invitations and, if needed, the Pro subscription.

2. Add what you own

Books, movies, and games

Add the items you own, at your own pace. You can start small and build your library over time.

Simple organisation

Use filters or categories if helpful — or keep things simple. Nothing is required.

Free and Pro boundaries

The Free plan lets you explore all core personal features, up to a fixed number of items. Pro removes this limit and supports larger or shared libraries.

3. Visibility and privacy

  • Personal items are visible only to you
  • Group items are visible to members of a group
  • Hidden items are visible only after an extra unlock step (Pro)
  • Visibility controls who can see an item, not how ownership works

If a Pro subscription ends, items are never deleted. Viewing and removing items remains possible.

4. Optional tools

Lending tracking

Mark items as lent and optionally record return dates. This is useful for shared or borrowed items.

Reading progress

Track your own reading progress privately. This information is never shared.

Activity summaries

Optional monthly emails showing recent changes in your library.

Plans and boundaries

You can use HiBooWoo for free for personal organisation. Pro is available if you want unlimited items, hidden organisation, or shared household libraries.
